What are Bespoke Brows?

Bespoke Brows are one of many services offered at Feather and Blade, but most definitely our signature treatment! Bespoke Brows uses microblading, machine hair-stroke techniques, and shading techniques. This creates new eyebrows, hair stroke by hair stroke, best suited for each client’s face to ensure the most natural looking result. If you’re looking for a way to keep your eyebrows perfectly shaped and balanced all-day and every day, then Bespoke Brows are the treatment for you.

The first step to getting Bespoke Brows is discussing what type of eyebrows you desire in a consultation. This consultation is included in the Bespoke Brow service at Feather and Blade, and it serves many purposes. A consultation is needed in order to design the type of brow that will best suit the customer’s face, as well as the color. After discussing, a design mock-up will then be made using a specialized brow pencil to ensure that the eyebrow design is perfect. Last but certainly not least, the procedure of the Bespoke Brows begins!

The Bespoke Brow treatment is quick and easy, with just a few simple steps! First, a topical numbing cream is applied, this stays on for about 15 minutes. Next, the brow hair grade and color are analyzed. Feather and Blade artists will create a symmetrical, natural-looking eyebrow that is custom-made for your bone structure, which gives the chance to see how the new brows really change the look of your face. Once satisfied with the shape and thickness of the brows, the color is then mixed and matched with the hue to ensure a shade close to your natural hair color. After, a special tool is then used to start making small, hair-shaped incisions in the skin underneath the brow – this technique is called Microblading. Microblading is a smaller and simpler service of cosmetic tattooing but is used in the treatment of Bespoke Brows to help give a more perfect and natural look. Machine shading is also another service that is used to create a soft shaded brow pencil look on the brows; It typically lasts longer than microblading because the skin tends to accept the pigment better when using this application. After filling in the shallow cuts of the brow with pigments to match or darken arches, the procedure is finished! Aftercare instructions will be reviewed and then a perfecting session is scheduled in the next few weeks to come.

Finally, In the span of 1-2 weeks, your Bespoke Brows should be fully healed and ready to show off!
